The History of Our Well Drilling and Water Systems Service Company

Late 19th Century

• The Fredebaughs began providing water to Northeast Ohio.

Early 20th Century

• John Fredebaugh started drilling wells, joined by his sons, Lloyd, Leon, and Hewitt, who later established their own operations.

Mid-20th Century

• Hewitt Sr. founded the current Fredebaugh Well Drilling in Grand River, specializing in gas and water well drilling.

Late 20th Century

• Hewitt Sr. passed the business to his son, Hewitt Jr., who later handed it to his eldest son, Mark.
• Mark passed the business to his youngest brother, Hewitt III, who is still running the company today.

2024

• The 7th generation of the Fredebaugh family joined the business.
• The company has long-standing employees, including one who has been with the business for 30 years and is the second generation of their family to work there.
